Israeli Settlers Torch Farm Room in Deir Dibwan as Army Arrests 15 Palestinians in West Bank Raids
Settlers burned agricultural property in Ramallah-area village amid an ongoing campaign of settler violence and Israeli military raids, which have killed nearly 1,000 Palestinians in the West Bank since October.
Watan-Israeli settlers set fire to an agricultural room early Sunday in the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, while Israeli occupation forces arrested 15 Palestinians in various areas across the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA, a group of settlers stormed the areas of Al-Marj and Wadi Al-Qatn east of the town and threw flammable materials at an empty farm shed (baraks) belonging to Sabri Sondouh and Youssef Awawdeh, causing it to burn down completely.
The attack follows an incident days earlier in which settlers stole livestock—several sheep—from the same town, in a pattern of repeated assaults on Palestinian property and farmland.
According to data from the Palestinian Anti-Wall and Settlement Commission, settlers carried out 2,153 attacks in the first half of this year alone, resulting in the deaths of 4 Palestinians.
Israeli Army Arrests 15 Palestinians Across the West Bank
Parallel to the settler violence, Israeli forces carried out a series of raids early Sunday, arresting 15 Palestinians in multiple West Bank towns and cities and storming several homes.
WAFA reported that three youths were arrested in Marda village, north of Salfit, after Israeli soldiers raided the village, assaulted residents, and vandalized homes.

In Nablus, the army detained three people, including a father and his son, during a raid on the city’s eastern district and the Popular Housing area, in addition to another man from Balata Refugee Camp.
In Jenin, Israeli forces stormed the town of Qabatiya and arrested four Palestinians.
Elsewhere, two youths were arrested in Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya, north of Ramallah, while one Palestinian was detained in Al-Ubeidiya, east of Bethlehem, and another from Hebron’s university district.
West Bank Escalation Amid Gaza War
In parallel with the ongoing war and genocide in Gaza, Israeli forces and settlers have escalated their assaults across the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

According to Palestinian data, at least 998 Palestinians have been killed, nearly 7,000 injured, and over 18,000 arrested in the West Bank since October 2023.
