Israeli Forces Execute Two Palestinians and Launch Mass Arrest Campaign in the West Bank
Killings in Jenin and Jerusalem coincide with sweeping military raids, home militarization, and mass detentions across occupied Palestinian territories.

Watan-Israeli occupation forces executed two Palestinian youths in Jenin and Jerusalem and launched a wide-scale raid campaign arresting 60 Palestinians across the West Bank. This came in tandem with a large-scale incursion into Balata refugee camp east of Nablus and ongoing escalation in Jenin and nearby towns.
Killings in Jenin and Jerusalem
In Jenin, soldiers shot and killed Issam Rabay’ah (43), from the town of Meithalun. His body remains in Israeli custody. Family sources said he was killed near the separation wall in the village of Faqqua, northeast of Jenin. Locals believe he was heading to work in the 1948-occupied territories, making him a “martyr of livelihood.”
With his death, the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank this year has risen to 157, including 58 from Jenin Governorate.
In Jerusalem, Mutaz Al-Hajjajla (21) was killed by Israeli fire in the village of Al-Walaja, west of Bethlehem. The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that Israeli forces arrested him while he was seriously wounded and later withheld his body. Jerusalem’s governorate reported that Israeli forces brutally beat him before shooting him in the chest, then dragged him to an unknown location.
This raises the number of Jerusalem martyrs whose bodies are withheld by Israeli authorities to 47, dating back to 1968. The latest is Al-Hajjajla. The governorate described this as a form of collective punishment that violates international humanitarian law and denies families the right to a dignified burial.
Funeral of a Slain Worker
Hundreds in Al-Eizariya town mourned the funeral of Mohammed Hassan Abu Hammad (41), whose body was returned by Israel after being held since he was shot on March 25. He was critically wounded near Al-Eizariya and later died in the hospital. Abu Hammad, a former prisoner and father of seven, worked in the stone industry and had been detained multiple times.
Raids, Expulsions, and House Seizures
The Israeli army continues its violent operations in the West Bank. In Balata camp, military vehicles stormed in, surrounded all entrances, and snipers took over rooftops. Soldiers raided homes, ransacked them, and forcibly evicted residents to convert the houses into military posts and field detention centers.
Imad Zaki, head of the Popular Services Committee in the camp, said that 14 families were expelled for 48 hours. Troops interrogated young men in the streets, barred humanitarian movement, and coordinated with the Palestinian liaison to evacuate 25 kidney and cancer patients by ambulance.
The Red Crescent reported a 30-year-old man was injured after being severely beaten by soldiers. The army also blew up a workshop and blocked emergency responders from reaching the area.
In Jenin, Israeli forces raided the town of Jaba’ for a second consecutive day, forcibly displacing 35 families and turning their homes into military outposts. Mayor Mohammad Badad said that houses were searched and vandalized amid heavy military deployment near the Tarshala area and surrounding towns.
Troops also erected dirt mounds along the Jenin–Nablus road, disrupting civilian movement.
In Meithalun (south of Jenin), armored units stormed the town, with soldiers taking over rooftops, raiding homes including that of citizen Hussein Youssef, which was turned into a military base after evicting his family.
In Jenin camp, bulldozers continue large-scale demolitions as the Israeli aggression enters its 149th day.
Militarization of Homes & New Army Positioning
Since the war on Iran began, the Israeli army has increasingly militarized Palestinian homes, turning them into command centers. Sources confirmed that the army has issued official military orders as part of a strategy to redeploy forces outside traditional bases, fearing targeted attacks. This strategy exposes Palestinian families to immense risk.
This policy is now enforced in several areas including southern Nablus (Al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya), Silwad and Birzeit (northeast of Ramallah), Jalazone and Askar camps, Hebron, and towns near the separation wall in Jenin, as well as Jayyus and Azzun near Qalqilya.
Activists say the occupation is creating a new geography of military spread, using Palestinian neighborhoods as human shields following the evacuation of regular army camps.
Movement Restrictions and Control
In Salfit Governorate, Israeli forces installed a new iron gate between Kifl Haris and Haris, the main route for residents after previous gate closures. This intensified the segregation policy restricting movement and isolating Palestinian towns.
Previously, another gate was erected at the entrance of Deir Ballut (west of Salfit), continuing a strategy of cutting off Palestinian cities through military checkpoints and barriers.
Largest Arrest Campaign
Israeli forces launched one of the largest arrest campaigns, detaining 60 Palestinians in the West Bank, including a woman, children, and former prisoners. The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society and the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said the arrests and field interrogations covered most governorates.
This brings the total number of arrests since the beginning of the week to 160, though some detainees have been released.
