Tragic Testimony: Palestinian Woman Reveals Horrors Amid Gaza Hospital Siege

Jamila Al-Hessi, besieged in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Complex, said in a phone call with Al Jazeera on Saturday that the occupation forces burned and killed entire families.

She added that the occupation forces set fire to a building where locals were taking refuge inside.

“We don’t even have water to break our fast, and we don’t know where to go,” she said.

Al-Hessi said that the occupation forced 65 families to leave the vicinity of the complex, according to Al Jazeera.

She confirmed that there is no presence of the Red Cross and they cannot provide water for us, and that the displaced in the complex have not found food or water for six days.

She pointed out that the children in the complex cannot even find salty water to drink. She said, “We are stranded amid the continuation of Israeli shelling.”

Al-Hessi issued a distress call to the Red Cross to provide water for the children and the sick.

The Israeli occupation army continues for the sixth consecutive day to storm Al-Shifa Hospital, which housed more than 7,000 patients and displaced persons, carrying out widespread arrests among the displaced, and shelling the homes surrounding the hospital, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
