3 Israeli Soldiers Killed in Northern Gaza Battle as Tank Explosion Investigated

Casualties from elite 401st Armored Brigade bring Israel’s military death toll to 893 since start of Gaza war.

Watan-The Israeli army announced on Monday evening that three of its soldiers were killed and a fourth was injured during combat in northern Gaza.

According to an official military statement, the fallen soldiers all served in the Armored Corps, specifically in the 52nd Battalion of the 401st “Iron Trails” Division. The statement did not provide further details on the exact circumstances of the incident.

However, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the soldiers were killed when their tank was blown up in the town of Jabalia, northern Gaza. The report cited military sources suggesting the tank was likely hit by an anti-tank missile, although other possible causes of the explosion are still under investigation.
