Watan-American journalist Tucker Carlson suggested that billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, infamous for his scandalous sex trafficking network, “worked for Israel.”
Carlson, the former Fox News anchor, made the remark on Saturday during a speech in Florida, at a conservative conference organized by Turning Point USA.
He stated:“Epstein worked for the Israeli government. Everyone in Washington thinks that way. I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t—but no one feels they can say it publicly.”
Carlson added:“The bottom line is that Jeffrey Epstein was probably working for foreign intelligence—not for the CIA. But now, no one can deny the foreign government was Israel, because somehow we’ve been convinced that admitting this is wrong.”
He continued:“There’s nothing hateful about saying that. It’s not antisemitic. It’s not even anti-Israel.”
Carlson also speculated Epstein may have run a blackmail operation, asking:“The real question is, why was he doing this? For whom? And where was the money coming from?”
He insisted Americans have a right to ask who Epstein was working for, and that citizens should expect their government—and foreign governments—not to act against the people’s interests.
Trump Responds
In related remarks, former U.S. President Donald Trump expressed frustration over continued media focus on Epstein, claiming the scandal was manufactured by previous Democratic administrations.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump alleged that Attorney General Pam Bondi was being unfairly targeted over her involvement with the Epstein files, and that the materials originated during the Obama and Biden presidencies.
Trump asked:“Why are we giving so much attention to these files written by the same people who staged the Russia hoax?”
He added that his administration was “on the verge of accomplishing in six months what others failed to do in over 100 years,” and defended Bondi as “excellent.”
Background on Epstein
Jeffrey Epstein, a U.S. financier, was accused of operating a massive child sex trafficking ring involving underage girls—some as young as 14. He was found dead in jail in 2019 under suspicious circumstances while awaiting trial.

In a 2020 interview with RT, former Israeli intelligence officer Ari Ben-Menashe claimed that Robert Maxwell (Ghislaine Maxwell’s father) and Epstein were both Israeli agents, and that the scandal was a Mossad operation to collect kompromat on powerful individuals.
Ben-Menashe said Prince Andrew was lured to help bring in high-profile targets, and that Ehud Barak was aware of the activities.
He also claimed former U.S. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta once stated that “Epstein was working for Israeli intelligence.”
