Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Man in Jenin, Detain His Sons and Seize His Body
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirms the killing of 55-year-old Ahmad Al-Amour in Rummana; reports say Israeli forces ran over his body with a military vehicle and arrested his children.
Watan-A Palestinian man was killed by Israeli army gunfire on Thursday in the town of Rummana, west of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, according to official Palestinian sources. His body was seized and his sons were arrested.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated:“The Civil Affairs Authority (which coordinates with the Israeli side) informed us of the martyrdom of Ahmad Al-Amour, 55 years old, in the town of Rummana, and the detention of his body.”
The official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported:“Israeli occupation forces executed Ahmad Al-Amour by shooting him with live bullets and then running him over with a military vehicle in Rummana.”
It also confirmed that the Israeli army seized his body and arrested his sons.

WAFA added that a large Israeli military force raided Rummana at dawn, stormed numerous homes, vandalized their contents, deployed snipers, and launched a wide-scale arrest campaign amid heightened military activity.
In contrast, the Israeli army claimed on X (formerly Twitter):“During a military operation in Rummana, a Palestinian man stabbed and moderately injured a soldier.”
According to their statement, the man was killed on the spot, and the injured soldier was taken to hospital.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, the Israeli army carried out multiple overnight raids on Thursday morning, arresting several Palestinians, particularly in Qalandiya refugee camp north of Jerusalem, according to local sources.
