Wave of deadly air raids targets displaced persons’ tents, homes, and civilian gathering points across central and southern Gaza.
Watan-The Israeli army killed at least 36 Palestinians—most of them women and children—and wounded dozens more in a series of deadly air raids that struck areas across central and southern Gaza from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
According to medical sources and eyewitnesses, Israeli strikes targeted tents of displaced people, residential homes, and civilian gatherings near medical points.
In the city of Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, Israel committed what was described as a “horrific massacre” when a drone targeted a group of civilians waiting in line to receive nutritional supplements near a medical center. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 14 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and left others with critical injuries.
Elsewhere, four members of the Abu Jild family were killed in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza after their home was hit by an Israeli airstrike.
In one of the latest attacks, three Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israeli helicopters struck an apartment near Haider Junction west of Gaza City.

In southern Gaza, five Palestinians, including two children, were killed and 20 others injured in an airstrike targeting displaced persons’ tents near Well 19 in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.
Another massacre was committed in Khan Younis when Israeli forces struck a residential home belonging to the Othman family in the western camp. The bombing killed a mother and her three children and wounded more than 20 others.
“What was their fault?!” cried out residents in response to the escalating violence.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army destroyed several homes in Khan Younis and eastern Gaza City following evacuation warnings. The destruction was accompanied by intense shelling and demolition operations that continued throughout the night, according to eyewitnesses.

By morning, Israeli tanks and bulldozers advanced near displaced persons’ camps in the Al-Maslakh area, southwest of Khan Younis, firing heavily and launching tear gas canisters.
The ground advance led to gunshot injuries and dozens of suffocation cases among displaced Palestinians, forcing hundreds of families to flee again toward northwestern areas and deeper into Al-Mawasi in search of safety, according to local sources.
