10 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Attacks, Including 4 Awaiting Aid in Gaza

Israeli airstrikes and artillery fire continue to target civilians in Gaza, killing aid seekers and families in residential areas, as UN officials warn of ongoing genocide.

Watan-Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that 10 Palestinians were killed since early Tuesday, including 4 civilians who were waiting for humanitarian aid, as a result of Israeli airstrikes and shelling.

A medical source stated: “Three Palestinians were martyred and more than 15 others injured when the Israeli army targeted people waiting for aid trucks in the Netzarim area southwest of Gaza City,” noting that the wounded were transferred to Al-Quds Hospital in the south of the city.

Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp reported that “one Palestinian was martyred and 50 others were injured — 10 of them critically — while waiting for aid during an Israeli strike on Salah al-Din Street south of Wadi Gaza.”

In central Gaza’s Al-Zawaida area, medical sources reported that “six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the home of the Al-Aimawi family.”

Elsewhere, witnesses said the Israeli army detonated residential buildings in the town of Al-Qarara, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Israeli helicopters also opened fire toward the Hamad City neighborhood north of the city.

In central Gaza’s Al-Zawaida area, medical sources reported that “six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the home of the Al-Aimawi family.”

Witnesses also reported that Israeli forces intensified their aerial and artillery attacks, along with home demolitions, in the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.

On Monday, Majed Bamya, Deputy Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, told the Security Council that Israel is killing around 100 civilians daily in Gaza. He urged the council to act to stop the genocide that has continued for 22 months, ensure humanitarian aid access, and end the Israeli occupation.
