This time, the warnings aren’t coming solely from international actors—but from within Israel’s own defense establishment.
The Israeli army has sent a direct message to the political leadership in Tel Aviv, warning that ground operations in Gaza are “nearing their end” and that “no significant targets remain without endangering the lives of hostages.”
This military warning was issued on the eve of a high-level security meeting in the southern command, chaired by Netanyahu and attended by the defense minister, the chief of staff, and other senior officials. The main focus of the meeting was the future of Operation “Chariots of Gideon”.
