Israeli Strikes Kill Dozens in Gaza, Targeting Displaced Families and Aid Seekers

Amid ongoing genocide in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes and gunfire kill civilians—including women, children, and those waiting for food—across the north, center, and south of the besieged enclave.

Watan-Dozens of Palestinians, including women, children, and people waiting for humanitarian aid, were killed or wounded in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across several areas of the Gaza Strip early Monday.

These attacks come amid catastrophic conditions resulting from what many are calling a genocidal war waged by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

According to medical sources and eyewitnesses, Israeli strikes targeted homes, tents sheltering displaced families, and crowds of civilians, resulting in deaths and injuries throughout northern, central, and southern Gaza.

A source at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City confirmed that the bodies of 11 Palestinians killed in airstrikes and gunfire had arrived at the hospital, along with 7 wounded.

Five of the victims were killed when an Israeli warplane bombed the Abu Nadi family home on Ahmad Yassin Street in the Al-Karama area of northwestern Gaza. The house had been sheltering displaced people from the Abu Ayadeh and Abu Matar families.

Another person was shot and killed by Israeli forces while waiting for food aid in the Al-Sudaniya area west of Gaza City. Meanwhile, five more were killed in airstrikes on homes in Yaffa (east Gaza City) and Abu Sharikh in Jabalia, north of the Strip.

In central Gaza, two Palestinians were killed and 35 injured in an Israeli attack targeting a crowd waiting for food on Salah al-Din Street south of Wadi Gaza. At least 16 of the injuries were critical, and some were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, according to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat Camp.
