Watan-The Israeli army announced on Friday that it had detected missiles launched from Iran and was actively working to intercept the “threat.”
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the military said:“Missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory have been detected, and air defense systems are working to intercept the threats.”
Video clips circulating online showed missiles falling in Tel Aviv.

Earlier, the army had confirmed that a missile launched from Yemen landed in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, noting that no interception systems had been deployed to stop it.
Later, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society issued a statement confirming that at least five Palestinians, including three children, were wounded by shrapnel from the missile that struck Hebron.
These developments come amid an ongoing Israeli military campaign targeting nuclear sites in Iran, which has reportedly eliminated nearly all of Iran’s senior military leadership and killed several nuclear scientists.
