Watan-The Israeli army announced on Friday that Iran launched around 100 drones toward Israel in response to massive Israeli airstrikes that targeted locations inside Iran early in the morning.
Army spokesperson Efi Defrin stated to reporters:“Iran launched approximately 100 drones toward Israeli territory, and we are working to intercept them.”
He added that about 200 Israeli fighter jets took part in the attack on Iran, striking around 100 targets in various regions across the Islamic Republic.
In a related development, Jordanian authorities announced on Friday the temporary closure of the kingdom’s airspace, as a precautionary measure against potential risks stemming from the ongoing military escalation in the region.
According to Jordan’s official news agency, the decision includes the suspension of civilian air traffic in Jordanian skies, following the Israeli strikes on Iran.
These developments come amid a sharp escalation of regional tensions, raising international concerns about the situation spiraling into a broader confrontation.
