Watan-Hamas declared on Sunday that the “resistance” is waging a war of attrition in response to the genocide against civilians, and that it continues to surprise the enemy daily with renewed battlefield tactics.
In a press release cited by the Palestinian Information Center, the movement said:“The escalation of the occupation’s military operations only worsens its losses and pushes its captives into an unknown fate. There is no solution but through a comprehensive deal—something Netanyahu rejects.”
Hamas emphasized that “the absolute victory Netanyahu speaks of is nothing but a delusion meant to deceive his public.” It added that “the endless war he wanted has become a daily burden, and it will ultimately bring about his personal and political downfall, following the collapse of his fantasy of swift resolution.”
On Saturday, Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, claimed responsibility for killing and injuring six Israeli soldiers by detonating a previously rigged tunnel against a foot patrol in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
