12 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Strikes on Homes and Displacement Tents in Gaza

Airstrikes and artillery shelling target civilians across central and southern Gaza, amid ongoing war and forced displacement.

Watan-Twelve Palestinians were killed since early Thursday in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting homes, buildings, and tents sheltering displaced people in Gaza, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses.

A medical source reported:“A young girl was killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed the Abu Shamala family home near Al-Banna Bakery in western Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.”

Eyewitnesses also reported:“Israeli artillery shelled Al-Mughraqa town, north of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.”

Eyewitnesses further reported that the Israeli army is demolishing residential buildings in Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younis.

In the southern Gaza Strip, another medical source confirmed:“Six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a tent housing displaced people near the Asdaa area in northern Khan Younis.”

Two more were killed in a separate drone strike on a tent for displaced people on Roni Street, also near the Asdaa area.

There was also intense artillery shelling in multiple areas across Khan Younis, including:

  • Batin al-Samin

  • Qizan al-Najjar

  • Al-Balad

  • Al-Satr al-Gharbi

  • Al-Kateeba

  • Street 5

  • Surrounding districts

In northern Gaza, a medical source confirmed:“A father and his child from the Abu Nada
