Three Israeli Soldiers Killed in Northern Gaza Clashes as Ground War Toll Rises

IDF death toll reaches 424 amid fierce fighting with Hamas near Jabalia refugee camp

Watan-The Israeli occupation army announced on Tuesday that three of its soldiers were killed in fighting in northern Gaza, raising the total number of Israeli military deaths to 424 since the launch of its ground operation in the Palestinian enclave on October 27, 2023.

The announcement came just hours after the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said its fighters were engaged in “fierce clashes” with Israeli forces in the same region.

In a statement, the al-Qassam Brigades said:”Al-Qassam fighters are engaged in intense close-range combat with Israeli occupation soldiers and have inflicted deaths and injuries east of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel—backed fully by the United States—has waged a campaign in Gaza that has resulted in over 178,000 Palestinian casualties, mostly women and children, in addition to over 11,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands displaced.
