Watan-The Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza reported on Friday that more than 50 Palestinians are dead or missing following an Israeli airstrike that hit a residential building in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, on Thursday evening.
In a statement, officials said the Israeli bombing completely destroyed a four-story home, marking another atrocity in what they described as Tel Aviv’s twenty-month-long campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Late Thursday, medical sources confirmed the death of six Palestinians from the targeted home belonging to the Dardouna family in Jabalia.
The Civil Defense called the attack a “horrific massacre,” stating that its crews recovered four bodies and rescued six injured individuals. However, more than 50 people remain trapped under the rubble.
Search operations have come to a halt due to the severe shortage of heavy equipment, leaving the fate of the missing unknown.
