Netanyahu Proposes “End to War” Plan That Signals Gaza’s Surrender, Not Peace

Israel’s ceasefire conditions demand the disarmament and expulsion of Hamas, paving the way for forced displacement and long-term occupation of Gaza under the Trump plan.

Watan-In a surprising and controversial development, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has, for the first time since the start of the assault on Gaza, declared his government’s willingness to end the war—but under conditions that effectively amount to an informal demand for Gaza’s surrender, not a peace agreement.

Facing mounting internal and international pressure, Netanyahu laid out three core demands for ending the war:

  1. The return of all Israeli hostages

  2. The total elimination of Hamas and the expulsion of its leaders

  3. The complete disarmament of Palestinian resistance

These conditions undermine the Palestinian cause and aim to dismantle any active Palestinian presence or resistance in the Gaza Strip.

De Facto Implementation of the Trump Plan

More alarming is that these conditions appear to be a prelude to implementing the “Trump Plan”, also known as the Deal of the Century—a blueprint for the displacement of Gaza’s population and erasure of its political cause.

Netanyahu was explicit:“We will extend security control over all areas of the Strip,”affirming intentions to wipe out Hamas and fully dominate Gaza, posing a direct threat to Palestinian identity and existence.

Palestinian Response and Humanitarian Manipulation

The Palestinian resistance has repeatedly offered to release all Israeli captives in exchange for a ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces. Yet Israel’s continued refusal suggests an agenda far beyond hostage recovery—one bent on depopulating Gaza and turning it into a buffer zone under full Israeli control.

Adding to the concern is the introduction of “conditional humanitarian aid”, distributed by the Israeli military in designated zones only—a move seen as coercing northern Gaza’s population to flee toward Rafah and eventually into forced exile, mirroring historical patterns of systematic population transfer.

A Modern-Day Nakba in Motion

What is unfolding resembles a modern repetition of the 1948 Nakba, but through new methods and under Netanyahu’s direction.

The strategy is clear:“Ending the war” does not mean saving lives, but redrawing Gaza’s map to fit Israel’s long-term occupation project, erasing resistance, and reshaping reality on Israeli terms.
