Watan-The U.S. Embassy in Libya on Sunday denied reports of American plans to relocate Gaza residents to Libya.
In a post on its official page on the social media platform X, the embassy stated: “The report about alleged plans to transfer Gaza residents to Libya is completely false.”
The post was accompanied by a screenshot of a statement from NBC News on X, which read:
“The U.S. State Department and the National Security Council did not respond to repeated requests for comment before this article was published. After publication, a spokesperson told NBC News: ‘These reports are not true.’”
