Trump Eyes Gaza Palestinian Relocation to Libya

NBC News reveals U.S. discussions with Libyan leadership over controversial resettlement plan in exchange for unfreezing billions in frozen funds.

Watan-NBC News reported on Friday, citing five informed sources, that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is working on a plan to permanently relocate up to one million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya.

According to two informed individuals and a former U.S. official, the plan is under serious consideration to the extent that the United States has discussed it with the Libyan leadership.

The channel added, citing the same three sources, that in exchange for resettling the Palestinians, the U.S. administration would release billions of dollars in funds that Washington froze more than a decade ago.
