Watan-A Turkish tourist was killed and an Israeli police officer was injured in a stabbing attack in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem earlier today, Tuesday.
The Hebrew channel “Kan” reported that the police officer was moderately injured after being stabbed by the Turkish tourist in the upper part of his body.
Video footage showed a mobilization of Israeli police forces at the scene of the incident. The injured officer was transferred to an Israeli hospital for treatment.

Hebrew media outlets stated that the Turkish tourist arrived yesterday, Monday, via Jordan.

According to sources, the tourist performed the midday prayer at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and then proceeded to carry out the stabbing attack, during which he was killed by gunfire from Israeli police officers
