Watan-Starbucks, which supports the Israeli occupation, has launched a coffee drink flavored with pork as part of a surprise offer to customers in China on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.
According to reports from sietun and documented by Watn, the new product, called “Nian Feng Savory Latte,” is available only during the Chinese Year of the Dragon, which began on February 10th.
Starbucks has openly supported the Israeli occupation since the ongoing Gaza war months ago, challenging its employees sympathetic to the humanitarian cause with legal action against their union.
China is the second-largest market for Starbucks after the United States, along with other Asian countries.
Surprise Offer from Starbucks: Pork Meat!
The controversial product was described as a surprise offer, and the company posted on its delivery app the controversial pork coffee, stating that it combines traditional latte ingredients (espresso and whipped milk) with Dongpo sauce flavored with slow-cooked pork.
According to representatives of Starbucks in China cited by Jiupai News, “Customers are rushing to buy the special flavored coffee for the new year, and some come to the stores specifically to inquire about the Nian Feng Savory Latte drink,” according to unverified claims.

The surprise offer sparked heated discussions on social media, with many users speculating about the taste of the drink and its purpose, while some criticized the drink, describing it as strange and accusing the company of using it as an excuse to raise prices.
Starbucks stock has incurred losses since November 16th last year due to widespread participation in boycott campaigns, in addition to a lack of interest in promotional campaigns.
