Watan-Recently, allegations have surfaced that Qatar will expel the leadership of the Hamas movement under American pressure, and that arrangements and discussions are underway within the movement for its leadership to exit Doha.<\/p>\n
Regarding these claims, the prominent Qatari Twitter user “Buganem” stated that the intelligence media of the Zionist entity, along with those who orbit in their sphere, are changing the narrative from Hamas considering a move from Qatar to Turkey, to Qatar expelling Hamas and giving them a specified period.<\/p>\n
In a tweet on his official account on the “X” platform, he considered that the goal is to pressure both Qatar and Hamas, aiming to confuse the situation and exploit the news as a victory for the Netanyahu administration.<\/p>\n
The Wall Street Journal claimed in a report that the political leadership of Hamas is in communication with Oman and another country to discuss leaving Qatar, following pressure from American lawmakers, in order to make progress in negotiations regarding a deal to release Israeli detainees in exchange for a ceasefire in Gaza.<\/p>\n
The newspaper quoted Arab officials as saying that in recent days, the movement has been in contact with at least two countries in the region, one of them being Oman, regarding whether they are open to the idea of their political leaders relocating to their capitals.<\/p>\n
The newspaper also noted that Hamas leaving Qatar could thwart sensitive talks to achieve a ceasefire and release dozens of Israelis detained in Gaza. It could also make it difficult for Israel and the United States to communicate messages to the movement, which Washington classifies as a “terrorist organization.”<\/p>\n
