Watan-A young man stabbed the Iraqi-Australian bishop ‘Mar Marry Emmanuel’ during a religious sermon without knowing the reasons and motives so far.<\/p>\n
This incident comes two days after a fatal stabbing attack in a crowded shopping center in Sydney, and the Australian police said they arrested a man suspected of stabbing several people during a mass at a church in a western suburb of the city.<\/p>\n
According to the British newspaper “Telegraph,” quoting the police, Bishop “Mar Marry Emmanuel,” who has a large number of followers on social media, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
The live broadcast showed a service at the Good Shepherd Christ Church in Wacol, Australia, where Bishop “Mar Marry Emmanuel” was delivering a sermon in front of a number of worshipers inside what appeared to be a church.<\/p>\n
A young man approached the platform and began stabbing the bishop with a knife he had in his hand on his head and neck several times before several people pushed him away, and screams and shouts from others in the church could be heard.<\/p>\n
According to the “nytimes,” the New South Wales Police Force said in a statement that the police operation began after 7:10 PM local time on Monday. The police said, “Several people were stabbed.”<\/p>\n
