Watan-In what appears to be a heavy-weight surprise, reports revealed that security agencies in the Kremlin were aware of a threat from the D’aach organization days before the deadly attack on a music concert hall near Moscow.<\/p>\n

According to documents obtained by a UK-based investigative organization, the Russian intelligence revealed that individuals of Tajik ethnicity who had turned to extremism by D’aach-Khorasan (the Central Asian branch of the D’aach terrorist group) might be involved.<\/p>\n

The Center for “Dosier” (based in London) stated that the documents showed that “days before the terrorist attack, members of the Security Council (referring to the Russian security agency) received a warning about the possibility of Tajik citizens being used in terrorist attacks on Russian territory,” according to CNN.<\/p>\n

The report added that even before the attack on the Crocus City Hall, a source close to the intelligence agencies informed the Dosier Center about this matter.<\/p>\n

At least 143 people were killed in the deadliest attack on Russia<\/a> in decades when attackers stormed the Crocus City Hall with guns and incendiary devices before a music concert.<\/p>\n
