Biden stated that Qatar and Arab countries are “ready to fully recognize Israel,” as reported by journalists who met with Biden at a fundraising event inside the Radio City Music Hall away from the camera lenses in New York.<\/p>\n
Regarding the countries preparing for normalization, he clarified, “I won’t delve into the details now. But look, I’ve been working with the Saudis and with all the other Arab countries, including Egypt, Jordan, and Qatar. They are ready to fully recognize Israel.”<\/p>\n
President Joe Biden added, “There must be a post-war plan in Gaza, and there must be a path to a two-state solution. It may not happen today, but there must be progress, and I believe we can do that.”<\/p>\n
He continued, “We must deliver more food, medicine, and supplies to the Palestinians… But we cannot forget that Israel is in a position where its very existence is at stake… You have all these people who haven’t just been killed, they’ve been slaughtered.”<\/p>\n
Regarding the post-war situation, the US President stated, “There must be a plan for post-Gaza. There are far too many innocent victims, and more efforts must be made to deliver food and medical supplies to Gaza.”<\/p>\n
Biden continued, “We must act and stop efforts that lead to the killing of a large number of innocent civilians, especially children.”<\/p>\n
Progressives and members of Muslim and Arab American communities have called on the Biden administration to take stronger action to stop Israeli military operations in Gaza, according to Bloomberg.<\/p>\n
