Watan-While renewing the attack on the UAE, the Sudanese army announced its refusal to cease hostilities against the Rapid Support forces.<\/p>\n

The assistant commander-in-chief of the Sudanese army, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, said that a truce is possible only if the Rapid Support forces withdraw from the cities they occupied in Darfur and leave the capital Khartoum.<\/p>\n

During his speech, he stressed the graduation of a batch of JeM forces in Kassala state, not to sit at a negotiating table unless the terms of the truce are applied.<\/p>\n

He explained that to sit down for negotiations, three camps are being identified in the capital and three in Darfur to which Rapid Support will withdraw and hand over military vehicles, weapons and vehicles.<\/p>\n

Al-Atta, the head of the sovereign Council and army commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan called for the formation of an emergency government to support the war effort and reconstruction in the sites that were liberated from Rapid Support.<\/p>\n
