Watan-Jordan Initiative Coordinator for Airdrop Aid to Gaza, Omar Baltaji, clarified the reason behind executing the aid drop to deliver assistance along the Palestinian coast rather than via land.<\/p>\n

Baltaji stated in television remarks that the focus was on essential materials after consulting specialized doctors to deliver them to the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n

In his interview with “Al-Mamlaka” channel, he explained that the reason for the sea drop of aid instead of land was to ensure visibility along the coast, landing in a safe location where the waves would carry them to the city.<\/p>\n

Baltaji, the coordinator of the Jordan Initiative for Airdrop<\/a> Aid to Gaza, further elaborated that considerations were taken for wind direction and waves to push the aid towards the city.<\/p>\n

He said, “If aid were dropped in the city or densely populated areas on land, there would be a problem with the distribution among Palestinians.”<\/p>\n
