Watan-Russian scientists at the “Omsk” State Medical University, who have been working in the field of dental prevention for more than 40 years, have been able to innovate a gel-based solution to prevent tooth decay.<\/p>\n
According to the university’s website, clinical trials have demonstrated its effectiveness not only in combating tooth decay but also in enamel sensitivity.<\/p>\n
Some individuals suffer from tooth decay, a complex pathological process affecting hard tissues due to the complex interaction of unfavorable external and internal factors.<\/p>\n
In the initial stage of decay, there’s a focal demineralization of the inorganic part of the enamel, followed by the destruction of its organic matrix, leading to the breakdown of hard dental tissues. If left untreated, serious complications can arise.<\/p>\n
The gel formulations developed by scientists at Omsk State Medical University aim to prevent this disease and halt initial decay. Currently, there are 10 gel formulations, with plans to patent an eleventh dental medication.<\/p>\n
