Watan-Israeli accounts circulated a video showing children tearing their clothes, claiming they were Palestinians fabricating their suffering in studios affiliated with the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement, according to their claims.<\/p>\n
The accounts labeled the video with the word “Pallywood,” a combination of “Palestine” and “Hollywood.”<\/p>\n
The aim of this Israeli promotion of these claims is an attempt to portray stories of suffering coming from Gaza as fabricated for propaganda purposes.<\/p>\n
However, upon investigation, it became clear that the video is old and was not filmed in the Gaza Strip originally.<\/p>\n
It was found that the video was circulated in December 2022 on TikTok by a photographer named “\u062b\u0644\u062c\u064a” (Thalji) 1.Q3i.<\/p>\n
By tracking other accounts of the photographer, it was revealed that the recording was reposted on his Instagram account in December 2023, showing an Iraqi dialect.<\/p>\n
