Watan-Hebrew media outlets have confirmed that “lethal fungi” are spreading among Israeli soldiers participating in the war in the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the death of soldier Hanan Drori, 26 years old, was announced. He was afflicted with a severe fungus in Gaza that spread throughout his body.<\/p>\n

Drori was seriously injured on December 17 during fierce battles with Palestinian resistance in Gaza. Concurrently, he was also infected with fungi that penetrated his body, exacerbating his health condition.<\/p>\n

According to Hebrew media, Drori’s family made significant efforts in recent days to obtain a new and experimental drug for him after reaching out to Pfizer, but his condition was critically severe.<\/p>\n

This marks the second death of an Israeli soldier<\/a> due to fungal infections in the Gaza Strip, according to Israeli Channel 12.<\/p>\n

Israeli Channel 11 reported Thursday that another 30 Israeli soldiers are in critical condition due to these lethal fungi.<\/p>\n
