Watan-The Houthi group in Yemen has revealed details of a new operation carried out in the Red Sea as part of its ongoing efforts in support of Palestinian resistance and to stop the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n

Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for the Houthis, stated in a post on his “Ekhlaas” platform: “In support of the injustice suffered by the Palestinian people and in response to the American-British aggression on our country, the Yemeni Armed Forces’ naval forces launched a suitable naval missile targeting a ship belonging to the U.S. Navy, the ‘Lewis B Puller,’ as it sailed in the Gulf of Aden.”<\/p>\n

Saree added that among the tasks of this ship is providing logistical support to the American forces participating in airstrikes on Yemen.<\/p>\n

He continued: “The targeting operation is part of the military measures taken by the Yemeni Armed Forces in defense of beloved Yemen and as an affirmation of the decision to support the oppressed Palestinian people.”<\/p>\n

Saree concluded by saying: “The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to implement the decision to prevent Israeli navigation or ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression is stopped and the blockade on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.”<\/p>\n
