Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” have released a new message addressed to the families of Israeli prisoners.<\/p>\n

In their message, Al-Qassam stated that if the government of Benjamin Netanyahu continues its war on the Gaza Strip, they should expect news of the death of all prisoners due to airstrikes by the Israeli military.<\/p>\n

The message was conveyed through a “design” posted by the Al-Qassam Brigades on their Telegram account, showing a television screen displaying an urgent news report: “Al-Qassam Brigades: We announce the death of all our prisoners after targeting them with airstrikes by the Zionist warplanes.”<\/p>\n

Below the design, Al-Qassam wrote in both Hebrew and Arabic: “If Netanyahu continues the war, be prepared for such news.”<\/p>\n

Tension in Prisoner Protests<\/h3>\n

The message from Al-Qassam caused a stir within Israel. Hours after the message, tension arose in protests<\/a> organized by the families<\/a> of prisoners held by Palestinian resistance in Gaza.<\/p>\n

The Israeli police suppressed demonstrators demanding the ousting of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government in Tel Aviv and arrested several of them.<\/p>\n

Wide-ranging Protests Against Netanyahu’s Government<\/h3>\n

Several Israeli cities witnessed massive protests calling for the dismissal of the current government led by Netanyahu.<\/p>\n

This coincided with another protest by the families of prisoners in front of Netanyahu’s residence in Qesariya city, demanding an end to the war on Gaza and the return of Israeli prisoners.<\/p>\n

Protests took place in cities such as Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem. Hebrew media reported that thousands of Israelis demonstrated against the Israeli government at the Horev Junction in Haifa, calling for immediate elections.<\/p>\n

Hundreds also marched in the cities of Kfar Saba and Rehovot near Tel Aviv, demanding the government’s dismissal and chanting the slogan “Elections now.”<\/p>\n
