Watan-The former Chief Rabbi of the Jews in Austria, Moshe Friedman, confirmed in an interview with Al Jazeera that the actions of the Israeli occupation and its supporters against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip constitute an unprecedented genocide. He called on the world to intervene forcefully to save humanity and spoke about the Israeli falsification of the Torah, which prohibits such atrocities.<\/p>\n
Friedman, affiliated with the conservative Haredi Jews, stated that religious and humanitarian duty obliges him to condemn the atrocities committed by the occupation in Gaza.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that history will condemn those who remain silent in the face of the ongoing bloodshed. According to him, the massacres in Gaza surpass all historical atrocities, including the Holocaust, and he rejected comparing Gaza to historical massacres, citing the lack of escape routes in Gaza.<\/p>\n
He pointed out that during the war, the German city of Dresden had food, drink, and health services despite the absence of mechanisms to transport aid worldwide. In contrast, Gaza is denied everything.<\/p>\n
Friedman called for urgent and unconditional global intervention to save Gaza from the unprecedented and different brutality it faces today.<\/p>\n
