Watan-The Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed that the occupation army has not yet achieved any of the war objectives in the Gaza Strip, as reported by members of the ministerial council. This comes amid escalating internal disputes in Israel over who bears responsibility for the security and military failure in the face of Operation Guardian of the Walls.<\/p>\n
The newspaper stated that members of the ministerial council admitted that the capabilities of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, are intact and functioning, and that its military leaders are alive. Additionally, the majority of the tunnels have not been demolished yet.<\/p>\n
According to the newspaper, officials also confirmed that disarming the Hamas movement would require several more months and that the movement still controls the Gaza Strip despite the three months of war.<\/p>\n
As for the Israeli prisoners in Gaza, Israeli officials said that half of the prisoners are still held by Hamas, amid the inability of the occupation army to retrieve any captive through ground operations in the sector.<\/p>\nThe Israeli Ministerial Council acknowledges the strength of Hamas<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
On the other hand, the Israeli Channel 12 quoted high-ranking sources in the Israeli occupation army expressing their dismay at what they called the “war of the ministerial staff” against them. They clarified that the army is fighting in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Lebanon, but the government is fighting against them, according to their expression.<\/p>\n
Israeli ministers revealed attempts within the occupation government to shift responsibility for the events of October 7 to the security establishment. They saw the attack on the security establishment, planned in coordination with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as a threat to the Israeli emergency government.<\/p>\nAttack on the Israeli security establishment following the failure of the army in Gaza<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Ministers in the government (whose names were not disclosed) said that Netanyahu and other ministers are indeed trying to build a narrative that blames the security apparatus for Operation Guardian of the Walls.<\/p>\n
One minister added, “The attack on the security establishment was planned in coordination with Netanyahu, and in the current situation, the emergency government will not withstand for long.”<\/p>\n
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, the intensity of the attack against the security establishment increased during the meeting of the ministerial council.<\/p>\n
The report stated that with the support of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Emergency Government Minister Benny Gantz for the security establishment, and their refusal to blame it for the failure on October 7, the continued existence of the emergency government is now at great risk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
