Watan-The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, intends to form a special team in his office to study the possibility of systematically displacing tens of thousands of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in coordination with Western countries willing to receive them.<\/p>\n
This was revealed by Dani Danon, a member of the Likud party in the Knesset (Parliament), who made the announcement.<\/p>\n
The Israeli newspaper “Israel Hayom” disclosed that Netanyahu is working towards achieving voluntary relocation of Gaza residents to other countries.<\/p>\n
The newspaper reported that Netanyahu made statements on this matter in response to Likud party member Dani Danon, a member of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee in the Israeli Knesset, during a meeting held by the party bloc led by Netanyahu.<\/p>\n
Netanyahu stated during the meeting: “Our problem is the countries willing to absorb the refugees, and we are working to solve it.”<\/p>\n
In turn, Dani Danon stated, “The world is already discussing this matter; the Canadian Minister of Immigration spoke openly about these issues, as did Nikki Haley (a potential Republican candidate for the U.S. presidency).”<\/p>\n
Danon proposed, “Forming a team in Israel to address this issue and ensure that anyone who wants to leave Gaza for a third country can do so,” according to him.<\/p>\n
He explained that this should be organized due to its strategic importance for the day after the war, according to him.<\/p>\n
According to the newspaper, Netanyahu responded to Danon, saying, “We are working on it.”<\/p>\n
