It appears that the surgeon is slapping the woman on her face, with the hospital group stating that it was due to the patient not ceasing movement during the surgery.<\/p>\n<p><iframe id=\"molvideoplayer\" title=\"MailOnline Embed Player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/embed\/video\/3087009.html\" width=\"698\" height=\"573\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe hospital&#8217;s parent company, Aier China, stated that the incident occurred at its hospital in the city of Ganzhou in southwest China, about 300 miles west of Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the patient was an 82-year-old woman who, &#8220;during the surgery, due to local anesthesia [&#8230;] was suffering from intolerance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The statement mentioned that she moved her eyeball several times.<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that the patient only spoke in a local dialect and apparently did not respond to the surgeon&#8217;s warnings.
