The revelation of 100 soldiers being injured in their eyes follows the announcement of 18 Israeli occupation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.watanserb.com\/en\/2023\/11\/28\/haaretz-reveals-shocking-figures-of-israeli-soldiers-injured-during-ground-operations\/\">soldiers<\/a> contracting the disease trachoma (&#8220;dysentery&#8221;), prompting their evacuation from Gaza to a training base for medical treatment, as reported by the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.<\/p>\n<p>Doctors attribute the spread of the bacteria among the occupation forces to a lack of cleanliness and food donations from the public.
