Watan-Activists share a video showing an Israeli occupation soldier laughing loudly while bombing a mosque in Gaza. This serves as a clear indication that Israel’s war against the Palestinians has transformed into a religious conflict, desecrating Islamic sanctities after the loss of human lives and the destruction of structures in full view of the world, which seems to be turning a blind eye.<\/p>\n

The circulated footage reveals the targeted mosque with its minaret and dome, located just meters away from a residence occupied by the Israeli<\/a> forces. From inside the mosque, the voice of one of the soldiers can be heard saying that he will capture the scene on video, suggesting their awareness of the moment of bombing the mosque.<\/p>\n

The occupation’s bombardment of a mosque in Gaza and the joy of the soldiers<\/h3>\n

In the ensuing scene, the mosque transforms into a mass of fire and smoke before the laughter of an Israeli soldier is heard loudly, accompanied by muttered words in Hebrew suggestive of mockery.<\/p>\n

Images and videos have previously circulated depicting violations by settlers and occupation forces against churches and mosques in occupied Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Hebron. This occurs amidst the ongoing assaults on the Gaza Strip since October 7th of last year.<\/p>\n

In recent days, activists have shared a video showing occupation soldiers desecrating a mosque in Beit Hanoun, northeast of the Gaza Strip, dancing inside it, and chanting Talmudic slogans that incite the killing of Gaza<\/a>‘s residents.<\/p>\n

Last week, the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in Gaza revealed that Israeli airstrikes completely destroyed 26 mosques in the region. In a statement carried by Anadolu Agency, it was mentioned that the ongoing Israeli bombardment since October 7th has partially damaged dozens of other mosques, causing severe destruction in some of them.”<\/p>\n
