During ceasefire and hostage-exchange negotiations in Doha, the Israeli delegation presented conditions that observers say are designed to pave the way for the mass displacement of Palestinians. These include preventing over 700,000 people from returning to their homes and relocating them to massive detention zones in Rafah, under full Israeli control.<\/p>\n

Sources told Al Jazeera that Israel\u2019s proposed map maintains occupation over all of Rafah and large parts of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Umm al-Nasr in the north. In some areas, Israel plans to control up to 3 km inside Gaza\u2019s border.<\/p>\n
