Watan<\/strong><\/em>-Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa\u2019ar warned of growing global calls to impose an arms embargo on Tel Aviv, claiming that if such efforts succeed, the result would be \u201cthe destruction of Israel.\u201d<\/p>\n

His remarks came on Tuesday evening during the International Conference on Combating Antisemitism held in West Jerusalem, organized by Israel\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and attended by foreign ministers and officials from other countries, according to the Hebrew outlet Walla.<\/p>\n

Sa\u2019ar stated:\u201cIf the calls and actions by countries and politicians to impose an arms embargo on Israel succeed \u2014 God forbid \u2014 the outcome would be the destruction of Israel and a second Holocaust.\u201d<\/p>\n

He alleged that:\u201cIsrael is a country facing an explicit threat of destruction and attempted genocide by its neighbors, yet this fact is almost entirely absent from the global discourse surrounding the war.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of Israel\u2019s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, calls to suspend weapons exports to Israel have grown internationally.
