Watan<\/strong><\/em>-The Houthi movement (Ansar Allah) announced on Wednesday that it carried out three military operations targeting Israel\u2019s Ramon Airport, a strategic Israeli site, and the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Truman along with several accompanying warships.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the group\u2019s military spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said the first two operations were conducted by the Houthi Air Force using drones. The first strike targeted Ramon Airport in Umm al-Rashrash (southern Israel) with two drones. The second targeted a vital Israeli facility in Tel Aviv using a drone named Yafa, described as a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n

The third operation, Saree said, was a joint mission by the Houthi Navy and drone units, targeting the USS Truman and its accompanying vessels in the northern Red Sea using a ballistic missile and multiple drones.<\/p>\n

He claimed the operation foiled a planned U.S. aerial attack on Yemen and caused the crash of an American F-18 jet due to confusion and panic during the targeting. Saree also said the USS Truman fled to the far northern part of the Red Sea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that the strike occurred before the U.S. declared a suspension of its attacks on Yemen, warning that Houthi forces would deliver harsh and painful blows if American assaults resume.<\/p>\n

Saree<\/a> reassured the Yemeni people that the Houthi military possesses the capabilities, \u201cwith God’s help,\u201d to respond to Israeli aggression, and reaffirmed the continuation of naval blockades on Israeli maritime traffic in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, as well as the airspace blockade on Israel\u2019s Lod Airport (Ben Gurion).<\/p>\n

This escalation follows recent Israeli airstrikes on cement factories in Bajil and Amran, Sanaa Airport, and power stations around Yemen\u2019s capital on Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the Houthis also claimed to have fired a hypersonic missile at Ben Gurion Airport, which they said bypassed all Israeli air defense systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
