adding that these actions amount to torture under international law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2013\" data-end=\"2301\">His lawyer, Rodney Dixon, said:&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.watanserb.com\/en\/2025\/01\/27\/human-rights-concern-over-the-enforced-disappearance-of-poet-abdel-rahman-al-qaradawi-in-the-uae\/\">Abdelrahman<\/a> was taken from his family, forcibly transported across borders, and thrown into solitary confinement in a country where he holds no citizenship, with no evidence of any crime.
