data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1305\">In a statement, the office explained that \u201cthe occupation army continues to commit genocide against the Palestinian people deliberately and directly, by indiscriminately targeting unarmed civilians, in a flagrant violation of the provisions of international humanitarian law, the rules of the four Geneva Conventions, and the most basic ethical and humanitarian principles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1799\">The office pointed out that field evidence\u2014documented by governmental and non-governmental institutions, human rights centers, and international organizations, as well as testimonies from Israeli pilots who openly admitted to targeting civilians during the bombardment of residential neighborhoods\u2014confirms beyond any doubt that the occupation intentionally kills civilians without justification, making no distinction between a child, woman, elderly person, doctor, journalist, href=\"https:\/\/www.watanserb.com\/en\/2025\/03\/24\/over-15000-palestinian-children-killed-in-gaza-genocide-says-health-ministry\/\">children<\/a> killed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1979\" data-end=\"2006\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1981\" data-end=\"2006\">Over 12,400 women killed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2007\" data-end=\"2050\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2009\" data-end=\"2050\">Over 2,180 families completely wiped out.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2051\" data-end=\"2112\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2053\" data-end=\"2112\">Another 5,070 families left with only one surviving member.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2166\">The Israeli aggression on Gaza has also resulted in:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2168\" data-end=\"2519\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2168\" data-end=\"2279\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2170\" data-end=\"2279\">The killing of more than 1,400 doctors and healthcare workers, causing the collapse of the healthcare system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2280\" data-end=\"2369\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2282\" data-end=\"2369\">The martyrdom of over 113 Civil Defense personnel while performing humanitarian duties.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2370\" data-end=\"2462\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2462\">The cold-blooded killing of 212 journalists, in a deliberate attempt to silence the truth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2463\" data-end=\"2519\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2465\" data-end=\"2519\">The killing of more than 750 humanitarian aid workers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2521\" data-end=\"2562\">Educational institutions were not spared:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2717\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2594\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2566\" data-end=\"2594\">Over 13,000 students data-end=\"3078\">The Government Media Office stressed that \u201cthese documented figures confirm that targeting civilians is part of a systematic policy pursued by the occupation within its plan to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing,\u201d affirming that \u201cthe occupation\u2019s attempts to mislead public opinion and falsify facts are exposed by field documentation and live testimonies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3080\" data-end=\"3693\">It held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the genocide and war crimes against civilians, emphasizing that \u201cthe countries supporting Israel militarily and politically\u2014chief among them the United States, Germany, Britain, and France\u2014bear legal and moral responsibility for these grave violations.\u201d The statement highlighted that \u201cproviding weapons and political cover to the occupation constitutes direct participation in the crimes and requires accountability before international courts, as complicity and assistance in committing war crimes and genocide are themselves crimes under international law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3695\" data-end=\"4278\">At the end of its statement, the Government Media Office stressed that these &#8220;crimes do not fall under the statute of limitations,&#8221; calling on the United Nations and international courts to act urgently to prosecute the occupation&#8217;s leaders and bring them to justice.
