The delegation is holding discussions with Qatari officials and those involved in the Palestinian file, focusing on mechanisms for the release of prisoners on both the Palestinian and Israeli sides. These talks are part of a transitional phase aimed at de-escalating tensions and preparing the ground for the second stage of a permanent ceasefire agreement between Israel and Palestinian factions, chiefly Hamas.<\/p>\n
