Watan<\/strong><\/em>-The Governor of Latakia told Al Jazeera that the fact-finding committee will begin its work in the province, while sources confirmed that the committee drafting the constitutional declaration will announce it on Thursday, following its submission to Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the committee stated that it is working on compiling a list of individuals potentially involved in the recent violent incidents that resulted in hundreds of deaths.<\/p>\n

During a press conference in Damascus, the committee emphasized its independence and commitment to neutrality in accordance with national and international legal standards, adding that it will soon announce its communication mechanisms.<\/p>\n

The fact-finding committee explained that it is not only identifying potential perpetrators but also working on documenting and compiling evidence transparently. The investigations cover the events of the 6th, 7th, and 8th of this month, and the committee pledged accountability, stating:”No one is above the law.”<\/p>\n
