In female patients, the increase was only 0.7-fold.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1375\">Researchers believe these findings could help develop treatments to prevent T cells from attacking PINK1, thereby protecting brain cells.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1644\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Parkinson\u2019s disease is a neurodegenerative condition that gradually manifests through stiffness, tremors, and slowed movement.
