Watan<\/strong><\/em>-In a surprising move that reflects the American bias toward Israel, Washington has announced its outright rejection of the Arab plan proposed during the emergency Cairo summit for the reconstruction of Gaza. Instead of supporting Arab efforts aimed at stabilizing the region, the U.S. administration has adhered to former President Donald Trump’s proposal, which calls for the displacement of Gaza\u2019s residents and the reconstruction of the strip in a way that ensures the complete exclusion of Hamas from the political scene.<\/p>\n

The American statements came shortly after the conclusion of the summit, with the U.S. National Security Council asserting that “the Arab plan does not address the current situation in Gaza and that the strip is no longer habitable due to extensive destruction and unexploded ordnance.” The statement added that Washington believes Gaza’s reconstruction should follow a different vision, one that involves fundamental changes in the power structure, aligning with Israeli interests.<\/p>\n
