Watan<\/strong><\/em>-The spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, announced today, Friday, the names of the Israeli prisoners scheduled for release tomorrow, Saturday, as part of the fourth batch of the prisoner exchange under the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n

Abu Ubaida clarified that the Israeli prisoners to be released tomorrow are Ofer Kalderon, Keith Shamonsel Segal, and Yarden Bibas, who are elderly and ill.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Israeli Army Radio, citing the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, confirmed that Israel has received the list of prisoners<\/a> set to be released tomorrow in Gaza, stating that they are alive.<\/p>\n

Israeli public broadcaster Kan, quoting a source, reported that the list of prisoners expected to be released tomorrow is acceptable to the government.<\/p>\n

Israel’s Channel 12, citing sources, stated that the release of prisoners is expected to begin in the morning hours, similar to previous operations.<\/p>\n

For its part, the Palestinian Prisoners\u2019 Information Office announced that the Israeli authorities will release nine Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences and 81 others with high sentences on Saturday as part of the fourth batch in exchange for the Israeli prisoners, though their names have not yet been published.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, resistance factions released three Israeli<\/a> prisoners\u2014two female soldiers and an elderly man\u2014in exchange for 110 Palestinian prisoners, as well as five Thai workers.<\/p>\n

On another note, Israeli media quoted the father of two prisoners held in Gaza as saying, “Our battle is not only against Hamas but also against the Israeli government,” referring to his opposition to Netanyahu’s government’s stance, which threatens to derail the exchange deal.<\/p>\n
