Watan<\/strong>-The Palestinians, along with the rest of the world, rejoiced at the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. However, this joy was short-lived, as the fighting quickly shifted from Gaza, besieged for over 15 months, to Jenin\u2014the city and refugee camp that have become the stage for a wide-scale military operation carried out by Israeli occupation forces.<\/p>\n

The horrifying scenes witnessed in Gaza have now become a reality on the streets of Jenin, where dozens of martyrs and wounded have fallen, and hundreds of families have been forcibly displaced from their homes to an uncertain fate.<\/p>\n

The Palestinian Authority’s security forces withdrew from the camp after besieging it for over a month, following direct instructions from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who ordered them to pursue and surround the resistance fighters.<\/p>\n

The Authority’s failure to accomplish this mission led to it effectively handing over the city and camp to the occupation forces, who claimed their operation aimed to eliminate what they described as “terrorist threats” endangering the security of settlements in the West Bank.<\/p>\n

However, the scene is not limited to killing and destruction. It carries with it the stirrings of a new uprising, reminiscent of the Al-Aqsa Intifada of 2000, as the number of resistance operations grows to include Palestinians<\/a>, Jordanians, Turks, and now Moroccans.<\/p>\n

The recent act by Judge Abdel Aziz in Tel Aviv demonstrates that the Palestinian cause will not die, no matter how some Arab leaders strive to normalize relations with the occupation.<\/p>\n
