Watan-<\/strong>The “Hind Rajab” legal organization has officially submitted a request to both the International Criminal Court and Italian authorities to arrest Israeli General Ghassan Alian, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The request was made on the grounds of accusations against Alian for using starvation as a weapon of war against the residents of Gaza.<\/p>\n

The human rights organization, named after the Palestinian child Hind Rajab who was martyred with her family in Gaza in January 2024, seeks to prosecute Israeli officials involved in war crimes before international courts. Diab Abu Jahja, the founder and head of the organization, emphasized that Alian has no legal immunity shielding him from prosecution, calling for his arrest during his presence in Italy.<\/p>\n

This move is part of an international legal campaign led by the organization, which has previously filed similar complaints in several European countries, including Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. As a result, some Israeli officials were compelled to leave these countries to avoid legal action.<\/p>\n
